Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Execution of solution design, system integrations, and customizations
Supporting automation of activities by developing applications that reduce waste and errors due to manual activities
Designing, developing, coding, testing, building, deploying, and debuging new software or enhancements to existing software using Core Java technologies
Working with infrastructure leads and support staff to implement any required infrastructure needed to support our recommended technologies
Compiling and analysing data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
Working closely with product managers, developers, and business partners to understand software requirements
Reviewing requirements and translating them to high level design
Working with Product Managers and other developers on new feature design and enhancements to existing applications
Partnering with QA to help diagnose and resolve system deficiencies and provide
3-5 years of proven experience in back end developmentParticipating in architectural discussions with other team members
Creating code and libraries for the scaling of the web application
Optimizing the speed and growth potential of the application
Keeping collected data safe with implemented security measures
Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
Determining the technical specifications of a project and leading the software development projects
Developing best practices to ensure software functionality, usability, reliability, and availability
Proposing the most effective development solutions to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements
Working with virtual cross-functional teams to manage customer needs and milestone
Providing advanced-level development and documentation skills

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

Experience working in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to final delivery and support
Strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing
Understanding of Telecom Order Management and Service Activation solutions.
Excellent judgment, both in technical and organizational problem solving
Experience designing and diagramming system architecture
Knowledge of key Database Management and Operating Systems (Linux RedHat with JBoss)
Knowledge of Java programming PL/SQL & struts
Experience interfacing to various network elements
Understanding of Number Management and/or Number / Resource Inventory solutions
