Job Description
This position is for  OnionPay, Gurgaon in Fraud Prevention department. The Fraud Risk Analyst  will be responsible for Fraud Operations Analytics, Fraud Treatment Analysis/Execution , Risk Management and will be working closely with Workflow testing/execution team.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Monitor real time queues and identify high risk transactions within the business portfolio.
  • Identify fraudulent transactions and cancel them from further processing.
  • Analyse and execute fraud attack treatment process in collaboration with Operations team.
  • Resolve customer issues within the scope of existing service level agreements.
  • Responsible for the prevention and detection of potential fraud across all payment channels by reviewing customers' accounts.
  • Prepare progress reports for senior management.
  • Identify and review Financial and Regulatory risks for mobile money and payment bank systems.  
  • Assist in development of business strategies and policies to mitigate risk from fraud management perspective.
  • Would work closely with legal and product development team to support business analysis and workflow requirements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Would help with Fraud Detection product.
  • Would ensure operational processes are integrated and effective across the business project(s).
  • Would work closely with partners / stakeholders across the platform to perform analysis on various business processes with a focus on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Report Metrics validation to ensure business needs are being met. Identify requirement of  updates/corrections if any.
  • Hold trainings for subordinates (reporting analysts).

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Knowledge of Cards or Banking Fraud processes and terminology is preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills (analyse and troubleshoot reports/data to ensure accuracy).
  • Experience in any reporting software preferred but not required.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (interact with various levels within the organization).
  • Experience in translating business needs into actions and results.
  • Candidates with fair understanding of both business requirements and technology with ability to explain business needs to technologist to assist in project completion will be preferred.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
