Job Description

The  Assistant Manager, Commercial plays a critical role in ensuring effective cost control and financial planning within the company and at individual MEP construction projects. This position is responsible for assisting in contract negotiation, managing project budgets, handling claims and variations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to prepare project budgets and assist in the identification of commercial risks and work with the project team to mitigate them.
  • Monitor project costs and expenses, ensuring they align with the approved budget.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices,rental claims, and other project-related financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, project insurance, and legal requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 7-8 years of experience in commercial or contract management roles within the MEP or construction industry.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of contract laws, terms, and conditions relevant to construction.
