Job brief

We are looking for a professional NOC Manager in Network technologies, troubleshooting, infrastructure management, configuration management and continuous integration implementing and administrating network devices, within setting and maintaining policies and rights/security a complex ISP environment. We deal in both broadband and Lease Line business. Broadband is delivered on EOC and, FTTH, FTTX.

                                                                                                                                       

Responsibilities

  • Manage NOC operations.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.
  • Excellent customer presentation skills, including the ability to describe technical concepts in easily understood terms.
  • Ready to Work as Individual Contributor.
  • Monitoring SLA management to ensure continuous improvement in delivering value.
  • Being the SPOC for process related issues and changes.
  • Efficiently utilization of all available resources in NOC team (people, systems, knowledge).
  • Stakeholder and Team Management.

 

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Network technologies, troubleshooting, infrastructure management, configuration management and continuous integration implementing and administration of network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security within a complex ISP environment.
  • Firewalls – Juniper SRX, Fortigate etc
  • Switches (Juniper EX series & Huawei)
  • Routers (Cisco & Juniper MX series) multi-instance experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of L2 protocols(MPLS, STP, LLDP), L3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, VRF/RI, etc.) LAN technologies
  • A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
  • A practical level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
  • Knowledge in QOS, policy based routing, route maps, filter IPsec, L2 & L3 VPN list.
  • Expertise on IPsec, L2 & L3 VPN, circuits and various WAN technology.
  • Working knowledge of common network monitoring (PRTG, MRTG Knowledge) and security utilities.
  • Troubleshooting focused on determining hardware vs. software, hardware vs. firmware, software vs. operating system, network vs.  application/systems, and patterned vs.  non-repeatable problems
  • Experience on working on FTTX is preferred.

 

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. E)  or equivalent from four-year College or technical school; and a minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in ISP/ Telecom industry is preferred.
