Job Description

Trade Marketing Executive role is to support the Trade Marketing Manager in implementing trade marketing strategies and executing promotional activities to drive brand visibility, increase product sales, and strengthen relationships with trade partners. Candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure effective coordination and implementation of trade marketing initiatives.

 

Job Description:

  • Trade marketing campaigns: Assist in planning and executing trade marketing campaigns, including in-store promotions, trade shows, product launches, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Collateral development: Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create trade marketing materials, such as point-of-sale materials, brochures, catalogs, and sales presentations.
  • Trade partner management: Support the Trade Marketing Manager in managing relationships with trade partners, distributors, and retailers to ensure alignment and maximize promotional opportunities.
  • Market research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to inform trade marketing strategies.
  • Merchandising and POS management: Coordinate the development and placement of merchandising materials, displays, and point-of-sale materials in retail outlets to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
  • Sales support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide trade marketing support, including developing sales tools, training materials, and presentations.
  • Trade promotions and incentives: Assist in the planning and execution of trade promotions, discounts, and incentives to stimulate sales and increase trade partner engagement.
  • Data analysis: Analyze trade marketing campaign performance data and key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Budget management: Support the Trade Marketing Manager in managing trade marketing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all trade marketing activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in trade marketing, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of trade marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external trade partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market data, consumer behavior, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, market research tools, and digital marketing platforms, is a plus.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative trade marketing solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
