YOUTUBE SEO EXPERT
We are looking for YouTube SEO Expert, who specializes in optimizing videos and YouTube channels to improve their visibility, search rankings, and audience engagement on the YouTube
platform. His/Her job will be to enhance the organic reach and discoverability of YouTube content by implementing effective SEO strategies.
Responsibilities
Keyword Research: Conducting thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-ranking keywords that align with the YouTube audience's search intent. This involves understanding the specific search behavior on YouTube and using keyword research tools to find suitable keywords for video optimization.
2.Video Optimization: Optimizing YouTube videos to improve their visibility and search rankings. This includes optimizing video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails using relevant keywords and compelling content. It also involves structuring playlists, using closed captions, and implementing annotations or interactive elements for improved user engagement.
Channel Optimization: Optimizing the YouTube channel as a whole to enhance its visibility and appeal to the target audience. This involves optimizing the channel name, description, branding elements, channel tags, and metadata to reflect the channel's content and niche.
Video Production Guidance: Providing guidance on video production best practices to optimize videos for SEO. This includes recommending video lengths, formats, and engaging content strategies that align with the target audience's preferences and search trends
Audience Engagement Strategies: Developing strategies to increase viewer engagement, subscriptions, and watch time on YouTube. This may involve implementing call-to-action (CTA) overlays, end screens, and using video analytics to analyze audience behavior and preferences.
YouTube Analytics and Reporting: Utilizing YouTube analytics tools to track video performance, audience demographics, watch time, engagement metrics, and other key performance indicators. Providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting areas of improvement and optimization opportunities.
YouTube Algorithm Knowledge: Staying updated with the YouTube algorithm updates, trends, and best practices to adapt optimization strategies accordingly. Understanding how YouTube's recommendation system works and leveraging that knowledge to improve video visibility and organic reach.
Collaboration and Promotion: Collaborating with content creators, influencers, and relevant YouTube channels to promote videos and increase visibility. This may involve outreach, partnerships, and cross-promotion
strategies to expand the video's reach and attract a larger audience.
Thumbnail and Title Optimization: Advising on best practices for creating attention-grabbing thumbnails and compelling video titles. Optimizing thumbnails to be visually appealing, relevant, and clickable, while ensuring video titles are concise, keyword-rich, and accurately represent the content.
YouTube Advertising: Having knowledge of YouTube advertising options and strategies to leverage paid campaigns effectively. Collaborating with paid advertising teams to align SEO efforts with paid promotion, if applicable.
Requirement
Sound knowledge of Analytics is a must.
Experience in a media organization will be given preference.
