Key Duties |
Develop and deploy a Continuous Improvement Plan |
Contribute to Continuous Improvement Plan by using a standardized approach for and application of Lean/Six Sigma tools, and methods. |
Ensure excellence standards (e.g. DMAIC, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis) are being used for problem-solving (tools and methods) and daily continuous improvement. |

Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes |

Sound knowledge of conducting business process due diligence, process mapping, and documenting SOPs |
|
The ability to analyze data models to deliver logical conclusions |

Being proficient in inventing processes or systems needed to implement changes |
|
Sound knowledge and expertise in evaluating the implications of changes |
|
Leading and Coaching Change |
Provide primary support to business and functional leaders at Medi Assist, including Identification/chartering/prioritization of improvement opportunities |
Act as a change agent to implement continuous improvement. |

Lead Improvement Projects / Events |
Design and implementation of improvement initiatives or events for highly complex processes that have a large cross-functional impact to eliminate waste, reduce cycle time and improve business performance while establishing a sustainable model for continuous improvement. |
Lead value stream development to deliver deployment plans to be used to improve the overall performance of the value stream. |

Generate insights based on tools including (but not limited to) customer interviews, desk research, discussions with Lean experts, focus groups, and surveys |
|
Ensure disciplined, data-driven, well-documented approaches to improving end-to-end operational performance led by the voice of the customer. |
|
Optimization of the project methodology reduces time, reduce costs, reduce risks, retain/ improve quality |
|
Identifies problems/opportunities and common themes along with patterns related to various issues across multiple processes and reimagining the complete process from an end-to-end perspective |
|
Leverages previous experience across multiple processes to deconstruct and identify different factors contributing to the issues and provide solutions to outstanding problems |

Communication |
Ensure customer delight and frequent communication of all changes in the project |
The ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements |

Competence in writing reports and making presentations to highlight the effect of changes you made |
|
Should exhibit good communication skill with stakeholders & leadership |

Minimum Skill Requirements |

Education Requirements |
Degree or professional certification or equivalent experience. |
Certification |
Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt expertise is preferred |
Experience & Knowledge |
Minimum 1+ years of experience in Medi Assist & Overall 3+ years of experience in TPA or Health Insurance Domain. Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives is added advantage |
Skills Requirements |
· Accomplishments in continuous improvement events/projects, and problem-solving, demonstrated success & initiating change is a plus (Min – 3 Green Belt projects; Min-5 Lean Projects) · Knowledge in systematic and analytical methods to improve processes, including the following methodologies/tools: Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Control Plans, Mistake Proofing, Root Cause and Corrective Action, Kaizen, 5S Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies is preferable. · Excellent team dynamics skills focused on strong team and participation · Strong communication, oral presentation, exceptional classroom training techniques, facilitation, and feedback. · Excellent listening skills and emotional intelligence · Flexibility and ability to assimilate new knowledge and standards quickly · Drive for results, sense of urgency · Sound knowledge/exposure to end-to-end medi claim processes |
