Objectives of this Role:
Creative Development: Work on a wide range of projects and media using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals.
Brand Representation: Obtain inputs to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data.
Strategic Execution: Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
Responsibilities:
• Design Brief Analysis: Study design briefs and determine requirements.
• Visual Conceptualization: Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Graphic Collections: Design graphic collections to be used on various products as a cohesive collection or single delivery.
• Seasonal Fashion Design: Work with team members to design clothes for upcoming seasons.
• Material Selection: Select fabrics and trims for fashion products.
• Technical Specifications: Create tech packs and production art.
• Deco Techniques Knowledge: Have an understanding of various decoration types, screen print techniques, embroidery, and product engraving.
• Production Adjustments: Adjust art if needed for production files after sample review.
• Mood Boards: Work with the design team to create mood boards.
Designer Skills and Qualifications:
• Graphic Design Expertise: Strong visual and graphic design skills.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in graphic design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Visual Development: Ability to conceptualize and develop visual ideas.
• Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational Skills: Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in graphic and fashion design.
Portfolio: Portfolio of work showcasing a wide range of creative projects.
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web.
Media Experience: Experience with both print and digital media.
A Graphic Designer with little experience in any Fashion Studio or Fashion Related company
