Job Description

The role of a Asst. Manager – Quality Assurance – To achieve Process / Quality conformance as per the Quality Assurance program/ plan to make sure that, quality is maintained at every stage from raw material to finished goods till it reaches to end customer & achieve 100% customer satisfaction on quality front.

 

P R I N C I P A L A C C O U N T A B I L I T I E S : ( B U S I N E S S / P E O P L E / C U S T O M E R / P R O C E S S )

  • To implement quality plan and ensure effective quality product through incoming material inspection, in- process inspection and Finished Goods Inspection.
  • To execute, maintain & improve existing quality assurance system by using quality tools, trainings and SOP’s
  • To decide UD confirmation for material clearance through SAP timely for all RM & FG.
  • To Monitor in-process parameters, quality of finished product, Incoming material and if any nonconformity observed, inform to concerned & initiate corrective and preventive actions
  • To involve in analyzing customer claims and investigate the root causes, prepare Corrective Action Preventive Action with coordinating with operational team.
  • To conduct lab analysis for Finished goods and arrange the results to line Quality controllers for Batch wise product as per quality plan
  • By liaison with customer and Conduct Lab analysis of third-party inspections for Finished goods and arrange the docs as per approved Quality Assurance Plan to Third Party Inspection agency representatives
  • To arrange raw material and Finished goods test at outside Lab with coordination with SCM team
  • Identity new sources for samples testing and coordinating the Supply Chain Management in New Vendor evaluation and vendor performance
  • To update/draft new quality assurance documents such as quality manual, procedure, work instruction, purchase specifications, quality assurance plan etc. as per RIL Quality Management system requirements and to issue these documents as per the procedure for document and data control.
  • To understand customer requirement, specifications through SAP and other sources and meet them by arranging relevant Data and the Quality Assurance Plan & Data sheet
  • To involve in the implementation of MR process and to perform internal quality audits.
  • To actively involved in Troubleshooting of process problems
  • To coordinate the process team to take trials and analyzing and recording the data
  • To co-ordinate in implementing all applicable policies of Quality Management System, Environmental Health & Safety
  • Monitor & control of Rejection for improvements.
  • QAP preparation / updating as per new customer requirement.
  • Execution / updating of all Data Compilation through SAP and records timely.
  • Prepare and monitor the product spec. and process control for new sample/product.
  • Arrange external lab testing for FG and RM from external labs.
  • Conduct third party inspection / Customer inspection in coordination with CSD, Production etc.
  • Handling customer complaints & implementation of CAPA.
  • Maintain records for each product manufactured for each customer contract.
